About Birch's Folly
Birch’s Folly begins with a new job as Professor Birch’s research assistant, then sends you through a multi-map dungeon of mini-bosses and map bosses. Defeated Pokémon provide Pokédollars for healing and status items, while starters and encounters come from balanced random pools. This challenging fan game suits players who enjoy repeatable, roguelike-leaning runs. You choose from Pokémon instead of catching them, have no healing spots and limited supplies, and face optional permadeath enabled by default. A winning attempt lasts about an hour.
