Pokémon AlteRed Version revisits Kanto with a radically altered Generation 3 Pokédex. Almost every species has been retyped or redesigned, and many evolve into altered counterparts, creating a familiar journey with a different collection and battle puzzle. This fan game suits players who know Kanto and want its encounters reworked rather than replaced. It adds areas, moves and a smoother level curve, with 411 altered Pokémon. An alternate harder edition, AlteRed With a Gun, has some exclusive Pokémon of its own.
