Ash's Johto anime seasons provide the framework for Pokémon Ash Johto, with the opportunity to catch the Pokémon he catches and travel without HMs. You can choose Ash or Ashley, collect Johto Gym Badges, and nickname Pokémon at a PokéCenter machine. Created by An Kit Kumar, it is a completed GBA hack of FireRed. The game begins with all three Kanto starters after seeing Suicune and gives several Ash-associated Pokémon altered treatment, alongside specific rewards and encounters.

• Play as Ash Ketchum in Johto during seasons 3–5.
• Collect Johto Gym Badges.
• Travel without HMs.
• Nickname any Pokémon at a PokéCenter machine.
• Use the Johto map, though no town map is available.
• Experience a Johto setting similar to the original.
• Receive all three Kanto starters after seeing Suicune.
• Catch every Pokémon Ash catches.
• Follow most anime-series events.
• Choose male Ash or female Ashley.
• Use distinct Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Charizard, Cyndaquil, Totodile, and Chikorita.
• Receive the original Charizard at the start, then a different Charizard later after giving it to Liza.
• Keep Cyndaquil and Totodile unevolved, while Chikorita evolves only into Bayleef at level 30.
• Get one chance to catch Cyndaquil, Totodile, and Chikorita that can reach their final forms.
• Receive a level 30 Snorlax at a PokéCenter after the fourth Gym Badge.
• Catch a level 1 Larvitar at Mt. Silver.
• Catch a Shiny Noctowl or receive one that looks Shiny but is not.
• Have Ash's season 1 and 2 Pokémon in the PC.
