Pokémon Carmelite follows explorer Creil into the Semag Ruins, where a search for understanding turns into something stranger and decidedly meatier than expected. The main adventure takes place across a semi-open collection of locations, with a deliberately silly tone and appearances from people in the English-speaking fan-game community. It is a good fit for players after a compact, offbeat Pokémon fan game rather than a serious epic. Gimmighoul makes an appearance, music is a highlighted part of the experience, and the setting includes tributes to Relic Castle. A separate post-game Eevee Island add-on opens another adventure after the main journey.
