About Pokemon Emerald Essence [NEW] GBA

Expanded encounters, simpler evolutions and modern conveniences preserve Emerald's core while smoothing its rough edges. GCass created this completed GBA hack of Pokémon Emerald, version 1.3. Areas combine the version-exclusive encounters from Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald, while missed starters, Jirachi and several event islands become obtainable. TMs and Move Tutors can be used repeatedly, HMs can be replaced, and the bike system reduces backtracking. It also modernises breeding inheritance, repels, nature-stat colours and move relearning.

What's in it

• Each area includes the version-exclusive encounters from Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald.
• Trade evolutions such as Graveler, Machoke, and Kadabra are changed.
• The two unchosen starters are found in Poké Balls in Desert Underpass.
• Complete the Hoenn Dex and receive the Lilycove Diploma to get Jirachi.
• Seadra, Clamperl, and related trade evolutions can evolve into Kingdra, Huntail, and Gorebyss.
• Travel to Navel Rock, Birth Island, Southern Island, and Faraway Island.
• TMs have unlimited use.
• HMs can be replaced by other moves.
• Indoor movement is made less tedious early and more convenient later.
• Nature-raised stats are red and lowered stats are blue.
• Natures pass down as in later Pokémon games.
• Egg moves pass down as in later Pokémon games.
• Repels work as they do in later Pokémon games.
• Travel requires less backtracking, and Rydel gives a missing bike to players continuing an earlier save.
• Move Tutors can be used repeatedly.
• The Fallarbor Town Move Reminder reteaches moves without a fee.

• Altering Cave contains the intended Johto Pokémon: Mareep, Aipom, Pineco, Shuckle, Teddiursa, Houndour, Stantler, and Smeargle.
• Evolution items include the Fire, Water, Thunder, Leaf, Moon, and Sun Stones, plus Dragon Scale, DeepSeaTooth, and DeepSeaScale.
