A radically remade Kanto, more than 721 Pokémon, and inverse battles make Pokémon Final Red a broad FireRed overhaul. ~SAGE's Alpha 2.3 GBA hack adds Fairy and Sound types, new moves, abilities, items, evolution methods, and selected exclusive Pokémon. It also introduces turn-based battles, Wonder Trade, the Union Room, achievements, an iPoke device, a new menu, and a real-time day, night, weather, television, and daily-event system. The game is designed to be more difficult and includes a postgame.
