About Pokemon FireRed & LeafGreen +

Switch between FireRed and LeafGreen from one save file, catching their version exclusives naturally during a single playthrough. Pokémon FireRed & LeafGreen + is a completed GBA FireRed hack by Deokishisu, version v1.5.1. Its Key System controls difficulty, Nuzlocke rules, healing limits, experience adjustments, and other options. The game makes 246 Pokémon available without trading, expands the postgame with Emerald islands and a Battle Tower, and adds Master Trainers for Kanto’s 151 Pokémon. Faster travel, expanded storage, reusable TMs, flexible evolutions, and extensive battle-speed options streamline the adventure.

What's in it

• The main-menu Key System offers difficulty settings, a version switch, and one save file containing complete FireRed and LeafGreen content. It also provides Easy and Challenge modes, built-in Nuzlocke rules, IV and EV modifiers, an item-only healing option, an Experience Modifier, and help entries. Under its Nuzlocke rules, fainted Pokémon cannot return, while extra catches in an area are automatically fainted so the Pokédex can still be filled. The item-only healing option disables healing from the PC, PokéCenters, and other healing locations.
• Emerald’s Faraway and Southern Islands are added to the postgame, and all four event islands can be reached through gameplay accomplishments. Alongside all Kanto Pokémon, 90% of Johto and 5 Hoenn Pokémon are obtainable, for 246 Pokémon in one playthrough without trading. Extended Pokédex Mode marks Pokémon obtainable without trading, new areas including a Safari Zone expansion house additions, and Master Trainers for all 151 Kanto Pokémon award titles usable in link battles. Gym Leader rematches and the Ruby and Sapphire Battle Tower are included, with Open Level replacing level 100 mode.
• Quality-of-life changes include instant text, indoor running, optional auto-run, faster biking and surfing, permanent cut trees and solved boulder puzzles, and the Black and White Repel system. The bag gains two pockets and space for one stack of every item. TMs have infinite uses, EV-lowering berries are available, battle transitions, animations, health bars, and text delays can be sped up or skipped, and Move Tutors can be reused after their first teaching fee. The Move Reminder can teach pre-evolution moves with exceptions, nature-adjusted stats appear on the summary screen, and Pokédex navigation remembers the last viewed entry. Evolutions have no Kanto Dex restriction, trade evolutions use a story Key Item, all Deoxys forms are link-compatible with vanilla games, Gen 3 trading opens once the Pokédex is obtained, and softlock prevention is included.
• All Revision 1 bug fixes are included, along with fixes for other vanilla bugs, localization oversights, and tile errors. The roaming IV bug remains unchanged to preserve legal Legendary Beasts. The summary screen can show met locations for Pokémon obtained in generation 3, including those from Orre. Abilities gain Emerald-style overworld effects, and the Day Care is made more convenient with Emerald’s Everstone nature inheritance.
