About Pokemon Moemon Quetzal
Real-time local co-op, visible wild Moemon, and up to six followers turn Pokémon Moemon Quetzal into a busy shared adventure. TenmaRH's GBA hack of Emerald is a new release at version 0.8.4 in English and Spanish. Every Pokémon is replaced with community-made anime-style Moemon sprites, and players can select from 113 playable characters. Battles support Mega Evolution, Z-Moves, Dynamax, Gigantamax, and Terastalization. It also includes five difficulty levels plus Randomizer, Cheats, and Nuzlocke support, with shiny forms available in three variants for each Moemon.

Before you patch
- Start with clean Pokémon Emerald (USA). The creator’s patcher accepts a
.gbafile or a zip containing one; it does not list other regional bases. - Use the creator’s web patcher. The official download page provides Quetzal Patcher and can also accept an older Quetzal install from v0.8.2 onward.
- Pick an emulator from the creator’s list. mGBA is the recommendation for desktop; Pizza Boy GBA and My Boy! Lite are listed for Android, and Delta for iOS.
Who it’s for
This is for players who specifically want the Moémon presentation on Quetzal’s Emerald framework. The release announcement confirms co-op multiplayer, expanded box space and extensive customisation, so it makes more sense as a feature-heavy Emerald remix than as a story replacement.
