Starting with a special Poliwhirl, catching 281 Pokémon, and facing tougher trainers define Pokémon Poliwhirl. Dom_Dom created this completed English GBA hack from Pokémon FireRed, version 1.1.2. It adds the physical-special split, revised level-up learnsets, regional forms, later-generation moves, and original moves. Several type-chart, stat, and Ability changes are included, along with altered evolution methods and the Trade Stone. Fossils can be revived early from a Cerulean City building, while Island Six has extra Helix and Dome Fossils. Event islands, small map changes, and an Island Seven EV-training location support Pokédex completion.
