About Pokemon: Project Revival
Pokémon: Project Revival returns to the Caracara Region as a prequel, letting players explore it before the earlier visit. This completed RPGXP fangame by drawntoast uses Pokémon Essentials v18.1 and is version 1.1.7. It offers Single Pokémon Run, Xpertlocke, and Radical modes for alternative challenge rules. Generation VIII mechanics, including Pokémon, movesets, updated stats, items, and Mega Evolution, are included. The adventure has chapters and sidequests, with a special final sidequest unlocked by completing at least 49 of them.
What's in it
- A prequel visit to the Caracara Region.
- Single Pokémon Run Mode lets you choose one Pokémon without catching or evolving others.
- Xpertlocke Mode prevents reviving fainted Pokémon and limits Pokémon to gifts and trades, with no Egg hatching.
- Radical Mode bans held and Bag items in Gyms and the Pokémon League and always uses Set battle style.
- Generation VIII mechanics, including Pokémon, movesets, updated stats, items, and Mega Evolution.
- Up to 10 save files.
- The Move Master in every PokéCenter can relearn moves, check Hidden Power, change modes, check friendship, and run the Pokémon Nursery.
- 50 combined chapters and sidequests, with a special final sidequest after at least 49 are completed.
- Generation VII SOS Battles can occur in most wild battles after earning one Gym Badge, and can later be toggled with the SOS Machine.
- Poké Radar returns with Pokémon X and Y functionality and is earned through a sidequest.
- All starters from Kanto through Galar can be chosen at the start, with one choice allowed initially.
- Generation VI and VII-style Exp. Share can be toggled on or off.
- A level cap limits experience beyond the current cap, beginning at level 15 and rising with Gym Badges.
- Egg Tickets can be exchanged for Odd Eggs with a 50% chance to hatch Shiny Pokémon.
- HMs are replaced by items such as the Pickaxe and Hedge Clippers.
- An NPC can reset a Pokémon’s EVs for 5 Armorite Ore.
- Random grass encounters replace overworld Pokémon encounters.
- Generation VIII markings can appear on Pokémon and be viewed on the Ribbons page.
- Egg Incubators hatch Eggs outside the party, with Flame Body, Magma Armor, and Steam Engine still affecting hatch speed.
- Trade evolutions use held trade items and a Link Stone.
- Defeated wild Pokémon automatically drop their held items.
- Battle Beach awards Rad Points that can be exchanged for prizes.
- Mark, Exp., Shiny, and Oval Charms are available.
- Rotom Catalog can change Rotom’s form at any time.
- Cosplay Pikachu and Alcremie base flavors are included.
- Hidden Abilities require purchasable Ability Patches instead of appearing randomly in the wild.
- Generation V phenomena appear after the Nova Gym and Bedrock Badge, with special encounter effects.
- Q or A quickly saves to the current slot.
- ALT cycles through three Turbo Mode speeds.
