About Pokemon Royal
Redesigned Galar routes, Dynamax battles, following Pokémon, and a roster spanning Generations 1 through 9 shape Pokémon Royal’s classic RPG take on the region. SkyFlyer created this Spanish and English RPGXP demo, version 0.1.9, with an original Sword and Shield-inspired plot, new characters, events, and twists. Players can choose a balanced Normal mode or a tougher Challenge mode, explore refreshed familiar locations and new areas, and encounter detailed pixel art throughout Galar.

Pokémon Royal is Skyflyer’s standalone RPG Maker XP reworking of Galar, currently released as an early demo. It reaches the third Gym in roughly eight hours, so it is for players comfortable stopping well before a full Sword and Shield-sized campaign.
Before you start
- This is a standalone Windows game, not a ROM patch. Extract the official download and run
Game.exe; no base ROM or patching tool is needed. - Use a Windows PC if possible. The creator says Royal is designed for Windows. JoiPlay is supported on Android with configuration and controls already included; Wine on Mac is only a suggestion, not a confirmed setup.
- Protect an Android save before updating. Copy it into the new game folder. On Windows, saves are kept separately; after updating an older save, enter a Pokémon Center to update it.
- The creator’s page lists Demo 1 v0.1.14, last modified 9 June 2025. Its linked MediaFire file returned an invalid/deleted-file page when checked on 16 October 2026; use the creator’s site or community Discord for a replacement rather than third-party mirrors.
