Pokemon Too Realistic is a GBA ROM Hack by Chris Piché, based on Pokemon Emerald in English. And it is now available to download. It was released on June 28, 2024.

• ▸ Permadeath: Pokémon die permanently if their HP reaches 0.
• ▸ No HUD/Summary Screen: The usual in-game information is hidden; only abilities display a Pokémon’s health status.
• ▸ Random Weather & Day/Night Cycles: Adds unpredictability to the game environment.
• ▸ Sped-Up Clock: Time moves faster, affecting events and Pokémon.
• ▸ Hunger System: Pokémon die from hunger if not replenished with food. Leftovers prevent this.
• ▸ Aging Mechanic: Pokémon age and die based on their species’ lifespan.
• ▸ Toxicity: Pokémon can overdose on medicines, berries, or vitamins, leading to negative effects.
• ▸ Pokémon can contract permanent conditions like STDs or Pokérus (Rabies), which affect stats, spread to others, and reduce life expectancy.
