Liko replaces Red in Pokémon Velvet, a completed English Yellow hack by PeanutellaXO. Regional forms, Fakémon evolutions, newer-generation replacements, and added Dark, Steel, and Fairy types reshape the GBC adventure in version 1.2. Celadon and Cinnabar gain new Gym Leaders, Erika joins the Elite Four in Bruno's place, and Janine leads Koga's Gym. Pokémon have revised types, boosted weaker species, Generation 7-style stats and movesets, and newer moves. Trade evolutions use the Link Cable, NPC teams are more varied, and every Pokémon, including Mew, can be caught or acquired at Cinnabar Lab.
