About Pokemon Void
Stronym is being rebuilt by Odin Corp., which seeks Trainers to help raise strong Pokémon. Pokémon Void is RFG's completed English RPGXP game, version 1.9. It includes eight assignments, Void-affected Pokémon, achievements and secrets to find. Pokémon Void is RFG (Rory F-G)'s completed standalone Pokémon Essentials/RPG Maker XP game, released as version 1.9. Its practical trade-off is that the creator warns it may be rough on lower-RAM PCs, unreliable on mobile, and still contain bugs that will not receive routine fixes.
Before you start
- This is a standalone RPG Maker XP game, not a ROM patch. RFG’s official release says it was made with Pokémon Essentials v17.2. No base ROM is named, so do not try to patch a FireRed, Emerald or other cartridge dump.
- Use the creator’s v1.9 game download. The release page also links a separate archive labelled “Patch (Ver 1.9),” but it does not document a base-ROM workflow; it is therefore not listed as a patch here.
- Prefer a PC with enough free RAM. The creator identifies RAM as the main factor in performance, warns that antivirus may cause a crash when Void edits its files, and says mobile play brings many issues.
- Do not judge saving too early. Saving is deliberately disabled before the starter choice to avoid a scripting error; RFG says it should work afterwards.
- Mind the flashing-light warning. Some scenes flash, and speed-up can make that worse.
Who it’s for
Void is for players looking for a finite, completed Essentials game and who do not mind some rough edges from a solo-tested project. RFG says they were the only playtester, that game-breaking bugs may remain, and that non-major bugs were not expected to receive further work.
