Tempered Expectations is a fan game following John, a middle-aged office worker who is overlooked for promotion and escapes into a dream of Pokémon. His journey is framed as a small, humorous search for the confidence to confront his own biggest obstacle. Along the way, there are silly scenes and encounters that some players may miss.
