Modern battles, Gen 1–8 encounters including Hisuian forms, and scaling bosses make team building the focus instead of grinding. Pokémon Emerald Horizons is a completed GBA 1.0.9 hack of Emerald by BrandonXL. Set Mode, level caps, and a disabled battle bag support its challenge rules, while EVs, IVs, and natures do not affect stats. Optional bosses, side quests, a post-game boss rush, and a large TM selection add goals around the main adventure. It also includes Mega Evolution, the Fairy type, updated moves, and the physical/special split.
