About Pokemon Fire Red Essence

Expanded encounters and modern conveniences preserve FireRed's core while making collection and training easier in Pokémon FireRed Essence. GCass created this completed GBA hack from Pokémon FireRed, version 1.5. Every area includes both FireRed and LeafGreen encounter options, trade evolutions use single-use items, and TMs and most move tutors have unlimited use. HMs can be replaced, the Move Reminder costs nothing, and Altering Cave contains its intended Johto Pokémon.

• Graveler, Machoke, Haunter, and Kadabra can evolve without trading.
• Choosing Omanyte grants Kabuto from an NPC, and choosing Hitmonlee grants Hitmonchan.
• A level 25 Pinsir costs 5,500 coins and replaces Clefairy as a prize Pokémon.
• The two unchosen starter Pokémon are in Poké Balls in the final Rocket Warehouse room on Five Island.
• Completing the Kanto Dex and receiving the Celadon City Diploma rewards Mew.
• Navel Rock and Birth Island can be reached to catch Ho-Oh, Lugia, and Deoxys.
• All three Johto legendary beasts can be found at Navel Rock.
• Altering Cave contains Mareep, Aipom, Pineco, Shuckle, Teddiursa, Houndour, Stantler, and Smeargle.
