Any-order Gyms with teams that adapt to your progress make Pokémon Peridot a flexible Crystal challenge. Sea Tree's completed English GBC hack opens a new region and restores unused Pokémon from Gold and Silver development with new names, stats, and types. Two rivals appear throughout the journey, while Gym battles ban player-used items and reset progress after a loss. Fairy is added, Dark becomes physical, and Ghost becomes special without adding a full physical/special split. Modern moves, revised stats and movepools, altered trade evolutions, reusable TMs, hidden move tutors, and breakable cave walls reshape the classic engine.

• Gym Leaders ban player-used battle items, while held items still work.
