About Pokemon Red Ignited GBA Rom
Mega Evolutions, roaming Pokémon, and Dratini, Bagon, and Larvitar as starters headline Pokémon Red Ignited. AnthonJohn's GBA beta reworks FireRed with a Fairy type, tougher challenges at gyms, and new areas with their own characters, challenges, and Pokémon. It also updates routes and trainers with third-generation Pokémon plus some from the fourth generation, changes non-level evolution methods, and adds Riolu and Lucario.
What's in it
- Increase the game's difficulty.
- Add Mega Evolutions for some Pokémon, including some that do not exist elsewhere.
- Challenge a landmark in each city with a Gym for rewards and harder Gym battles.
- Encounter roaming Pokémon in the overworld.
- Change non-level evolutions to level-based evolutions and reorganize move tools to suit those changes.
- Explore new areas with their own characters, challenges, Pokémon, and requirements.
- Update routes and trainers with third-generation Pokémon and some fourth-generation Pokémon.
