About Pokemon Roaming Red
Choose any major Kanto town as your starting point and select any base-form Pokémon as your starter. Pokémon Roaming Red is a beta 3.1 GBA hack by TSK, based on FireRed, built to let you travel Kanto with far more freedom. Wild encounters and Trainer battles use dynamic levels, so the challenge shifts with your route through the region. The opening town and starter choice put that freedom in the player's hands from the outset.
