Pokémon Smogon Emerald turns Emerald into a completed GBA challenge by Yak Attack where progress is tied to badge count. Levels scale with badges, every trainer uses a Generation 3 OU sample team, and tougher teams arrive after five badges. Wild Pokémon, their moves, and held items are selected through Smogon usage, improving as badges accumulate. Soft experience caps begin at level 10 and rise with badges. Teach moves through the Start menu, inspect EVs and IVs with L or R, and choose practice opponents in Littleroot Town.
