Legendary Portals, a day-and-night cycle, and Cacnea, Growlithe, and Remoraid as starters reshape Pokémon Return to Origins. T.o.T.s' completed GBA hack of Emerald adds the Fairy type, a physical/special split, Pokémon from generations one through five plus Sylveon, and DS-style sprites. Difficulty and Shiny odds are slightly increased. Trade evolutions now use level-ups, locations, Evolution Stones, or a Link Cable, while Exp. All supports the party.
