Real-time combat replaces turn-based battles in Pokémon Crown, supported by a custom battle system featuring Pokémon from every generation. Blah's FireRed-based GBA project is in Beta 1 v9. Online PvP, auto-battle items, new catching mechanics, custom interfaces, quests, boss battles, challenge modes, day and night changes, and a pseudo-open world broaden the format. Vibrant biomes provide places to explore and catch Pokémon, while items from earlier games are reworked for automatic combat.
