About Pokemon Emerald Johto Edition
Johto Pokémon replace Emerald's roster, while time of day changes the overworld and its encounters. Pokémon Emerald Johto Edition is a completed GBA 1.1 hack of Emerald by riddley. Wild encounters and trainer battles have been updated for the full replacement, with the Fairy type, physical/special split, and revised damage calculations modernizing combat. A HeartGold and SoulSilver-style Pokédex, nature colours, indoor running, and reusable TMs round out the changes. It is an Emerald playthrough with a Johto-centered lineup and a full day-and-night system.
