Touhou Puppet Play ~ The Mansion of Mystery follows four teenagers from the Human Village who sneak out to investigate a supposedly deserted house hidden in the woods. Music can be heard from inside, and their trip becomes a search for the reason behind it. This is a brief fan game, usually taking two to four hours, for players comfortable with a demanding type chart and trainer-heavy progression. It uses six main stages, while an additional stage opens only after completing the whole game without blacking out. Battles give increased experience to support its quickly rising levels.
